Our goal!

The preservation and teaching of Irish heritage and culture for our own enrichment and enjoyment as well as to pass along to the next generation and for all people who are interested.

We maintain a program of teaching, workshops, and varied cultural events including showcases of music and dance as well as Heritage Day where you can learn more about art, local Irish history, connections to “back home,” and even food!

Currently, the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Foundation (GDICC/GDICF) offers fiddle and whistle classes at the beginning and intermediate levels,  two monthly seisiúns, step dance classes, and an annual 2 day Irish Festival (the Danbury Irish Festival) with a full program of traditional Irish cultural entertainment and information to explore.
